🎓 IELTS Academic Placement Test
This is a complete IELTS Academic paper sat under exam conditions:
Listening 40 questions, Reading 40 questions, Writing two tasks, Speaking three recorded parts.
2 hours 45 minutes in total, marked in IELTS bands against the official
band descriptors, with a full report on where you stand and what to work on.
Fee: 1,000 GMD.
This is a different test from the 800 GMD general placement test, and a different price.
📚 About the IELTS Academic Placement Test
Listening: 4 parts, 40 questions. The recording plays once, as in the real test.
Reading: 3 academic passages, 40 questions, 60 minutes, no extra transfer time.
Writing: Task 1 (150 words) and Task 2 (250 words) in 60 minutes. Task 2 counts double.
Speaking: 3 recorded parts, including the one-minute long turn.
Duration: 2 hours 45 minutes, sat section by section under exam conditions

reports a level for each skill, your

📚 About the German Placement Test
Every German course we teach is exam preparation, so this test does more
than name a level: it tells you which Goethe-Zertifikat course you
enter and how far you are from the exam you actually
need.
Lesen und Sprachbausteine: five blocks, A1 to C1, that get harder as you go.
Hören: four recorded sections. Every text is played twice.
Schreiben: three tasks, from a short message to a written position.
Sprechen: five recorded phases, from introducing yourself to defending an opinion.
Duration: about 2 hours written, plus about 20 minutes speaking.
You may answer the listening questions in German or English.
The test runs from A1 to C1 in one sitting and nobody answers
everything — that is how it finds your level. If you have never
studied German, that is the normal result and it is exactly who the
A1 course is for. One-time fee:
